Brilliant result for Auskick All Abilities session

On Saturday July 18, CBJFC was proud to host a hugely popular All Abilities Auskick (AAA) Session at Koornang Park. Our Auskick crew was thrilled to welcome many special visitors who may not usually get the chance to join into programs such as Auskick as easily as many other children do.

Auskick Coordinator Prasheeta Kuver couldn't have been happier with the club involvement and support of the day.

"While talking to visiting families it was wonderful to hear about what an amazing time they had, and how much they'd like to do it again," said Prasheeta.

"It was also wonderful to see some of our Senior Bears join in to help with coaching across all of our groups. It's a real testament to the focus CBJFC puts on character building and being part of a team - not only do our senior Bears set a great example, the kids really enjoy learning from them and have loads of fun."

The AAA session was also supported by the AFL, who provided a dedicated AAA Coach who helped everyone have a great experience on the day. The coordinators and CBJFC sincerely thank Nicholas for making the time to join us and helping our visitors have a great experience. Also adding fun to the day were the 'Tall Footballers', who joined in the Auskick hype and provided a lot of laughs for everyone there.

Special thanks to NAB who donated funds and merchandise, which were a great addition to Greg's Footy Book which was available for purchase. The local Rotary Club was a huge asset, helping out with the Auskick BBQ, which meant the Auskick crew could focus on supporting AAA activities.

The drive and passion of Auskick parents and volunteers to make these activities possible truly represent the CBJFC vision of being a 'family-friendly club' - Prasheeta, Silvana and all the Auskick supporters can be very proud of an excellent event.
