Caulfield Bears Junior Football Club (CBJFC) is a community based club with a great tradition of promoting the positive aspects of junior sport. We also have a proud fundraising tradition which sees the club give back to the community each year through worthy causes.
Our fundraising events are a lot of fun and set a great example for our young members.
CBJFC has raised approx. $25,000 for charity over the last few years.
In recent years we've supported the following non-profit organizations and charities:
- Relay for Life - raises vital funds for the Cancer Council's research, prevention and support services. CBJFC raised $15,000 over 4 years.
- Call to Arms fundraiser - supports the Cancer Council to increase awareness of cancer in men.
- TLC for Kids - helps sick kids and their families cope with the challenges of everyday life with illness.
- Challenge - helps support children with cancer and their families. CBJFC's 'Biggest Aussie Pie Night' raised $8,000 in 2012. The idea to support Challenge was inspired by the wonderful support the organization provided to one of the Bears’ Families.
