The Caulfield Bears AFL Auskick and Superkick programs are the perfect way to introduce children aged between 5-12 years to the skills of the game of Australian football. Our program is based on a weekly coaching program that focuses on teaching the skills of the game through appropriately modified activities and rules. The emphasis is on providing a fun and safe environment for both kids and parents.

NAB AFL Auskick

An intro to Australian Football and invaluable life skills. With game-based activities kids love, learning is disguised as playing. You don’t need Aussie Rules experience — children can start Auskick in the calendar year they turn 5!

NAB AFL Superkick

Perfect for anyone 8-12 wanting to get a feel for footy without the pressure. It’s a great next step after Auskick or a good way to start fresh in footy, as you’ll learn new skills through skill based activities in weekly sessions, then show them off in games straight after.

About CBJFC NAB AFL Auskick & Superkick

The 3 core elements of the Caulfield Bears AFL Auskick & Superkick programs are:

  1. Fun & Safe – our program has been devised to match appropriate skill development drills and exercises with the participant’s abilities and needs. Your child will participate with children of similar age and the program has been devised to cater for children of all skill levels. The emphasis is on fun activities conducted in a safe environment.
  2. For kids and parents – both kids and parents play a fundamental role in the success of our program. The program assists boys and girls to improve their sporting skills and it promotes a wide range of physical activities and good sporting behaviour.
It also assists volunteers (mainly parents) to share in the experience of developing the skills of the children at our AFL Auskick & Superkick clinics.
  3. Managed by the community – the community underpins and drives the success of our program. Not only does our local community provide the participants, but it also provides the co-ordinators, coaches and volunteer helpers who are pivotal to the success of our AFL Auskick & Superkick program. Parental involvement is paramount to the success of our program by ensuring the ratio of participants to helper is no greater than 5:1. It is also great fun & very satisfying for parents to be involved in their child’s sporting activities.

The cost per child for our AFL Auskick program is $91 for 10 sessions. Every registered (and paid) Auskicker receives a fantastic AFL Auskick pack which includes a synthetic football, back-pack, drink bottle, cap, a participation certificate, medallion and other great stuff.

The cost per child for our AFL Superkick program is $85 for 10 sessions.
